About Wharfedale Walkers

My friend Russ and I have been walking in Yorkshire for the last 25 years.  During that time we have amassed lots of routes, knowledge and information that we believe would be helpful for other walkers. We are also keen photographers so our walks are a great way to hone our skills and capture some stunning scenery.

So in 2019 I decided to start a blog to keep a record of our walks and to share some of these great locations that Yorkshire has to offer.  Each walk blog includes a map, parking suggestions, a GPX file and photos of what you can expect on the way.  I'm no Oscar Wilde and try to keep the walk descriptions informative and easy to read.

I'm also starting to put on archive walks that we have done over the years, these will tend to be brief on description but contain all the vital resources that you need.

This project is all about sharing the brilliant Yorkshire countryside and the great benefits of regular walking so if you know someone who can use this content then please share or follow us for updates here.
