Arthington (8 Miles)

The village of Arthington and its Viaduct provide the stunning backdrop to this walk.  Starting in Bramhope with plenty of opportunities for roadside parking, this walk provides some beautiful views across the valley.

Bramhope itself is a lovely village and whilst I've driven past 1000's of time over the years this is my fist time walking through the village.  On leaving the village you cross the busy A660 and follow a footpath passing some large and impressive houses.

The path to Arthington is well trod and easy to follow.  You gain some height and it was great to see some views of the Viaduct I had not seen before.  The path takes you down into Arthington itself before hooking back round for the climb back to Bramhope.

A thoroughly enjoyable 8 miles with some great views.
