Stainforth and Catrigg Force (5.5 Miles)

Catrigg Force is a well photographed 6m waterfall on the outskirts of Settle near the village of Stainforth.  Some beautiful vistas await you as you make your way up to the waterfall.  The waterfall itself is a short walk from the main route but definitely worth a visit.

As well as some great views of Ribblesdale you can also see the three Yorkshire peaks.  On our visit we were lucky enough to see a steam loco running on the Settle line - completely by accident.

Paid for parking is available in Stainforth village with some free parking available in lay-bys.
